My first MTD! Designed, inspected and setup by Mike Tobias himself. It's got an ash body with a flame maple top, maple neck and fingerboard, 3-band EQ and MM+J pickups. Like all MTD's it also has the Buzz Feiten tuning system which really helps the notes to be more in tune all across the fingerboard.

I'm very proud to endorse MTD basses as I feel they are simply the best for the money. Completely handmade to M. Tobias specifications using quality woods, those basses are designed with the player's comfort and sound in mind. Mike Tobias is a true legend and one of the best luthier in the world. On top of that, he offers the best customer service in the business and totally backup every single bass that his name has been implicated with.

The bass has now been upgraded with an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp and Nordstrand pickups. It sounds so great that it's been my main 5-string bass lately!
